I'm going to be including a new series of posts called "Small Biz." While the big chains like Target and Anthropologie have their place in providing some accessible design, there is a rewarding feeling like no other when supporting small, local businesses. Case in point: Feather Your Nest, a specialty shop in the vacation town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.I first learned about this shop a year ago, when I was looking to buy a vintage-y "Eat" sign to place in my kichen/ dining room. I had first seen one in (insert store name here) catalog, but as much as I love ____ I wasn't willing to pay their asking price. So I ran a search online, and found my "eat" sign for a reasonable price on Feather Your Nest's website. Shop owner Gina Drennon has done a fabulous job providing customers with various retro and retro-inspired goodies for the home and for gift-giving. Check out the shop the next time you're in Eureka Springs, or get instant gratification by perusing the website.
