Petite Reads: Japan ELLE

Earlier this week I stopped by the local Sanseido bookstore to purchase couple of magazines. The latest issue of Japan ELLE caught my eye, because its cover promised a guide to Paris' best spots. I was not disappointed! I encourage all my fellow francophiles to pickup a copy if possible.

French Beauty Products

When my parents visited Paris (the last year France used the franc currency), they brought me a lot of beauty goods. Many of these products are still my favorites today.

Avene thermal water: I use this as a toner for my oily, acne-prone skin.
Bourjois Effet 3D lipgloss: This leaves just the right amount of sheen over my lipstick. There

Les Fleurs de Provence perfume: I have the jasmine version, which is one of my signature scents. The bottle evolved into a more modern design, but the lovely fragrance remains.
Roger and Gallet soaps: The rose scent is probably the most popular, but my
favorites are the carnation and Jean-Marie Farina.

My favorites (I am clearly on a gold kick):
